It’s important to look after your feet and even more important to look after your children’s feet – those two tiny little tootsies will hold them throughout their life, taking them where they need to go, allowing them to dance in the rain, run through the grass, play kiss chasey (although the over-reactive policy makers say that’s harassment these days so maybe not), swim, ride bikes and all sorts of fun activities that we take for granted.
Looking after little feet early can help prevent problems later in life and one way to make sure your child’s feet are well looked after is to make sure they have a good pair of shoes. I feel like I’m forever buying Dexter new shoes – did you know that feet tend to grow around two sizes a year until they’re four? No wonder I feel like I’m always buying new pairs.
It’s important also to buy quality shoes, I know that I’m always looking for shoes that will last and frankly spending a fortune on shoes that are going to be outgrown in six months so I’m also looking for the best bang for my buck – quality shoes that are cost effective and will last even if Dexter decides he has to wear them all day every day for the entire six months his foot fits into it.
Betts Kids is the largest footwear chain in Australia and they specialise in high quality children’s footwear that is comfortable and long lasting. They have brick and mortar stores across Australia and a fantastic online store where you can browse the latest styles.
I’ve recently been looking for some good quality sports shoes for Dexter to play soccer in and was thrilled when the team at Betts Kids got in touch to tell me about their range, I had a chance to pick out a pair of shoes for our little man to trial and immediately started looking at the sneakers and sports shoes. After deliberating, I decided on a dedicated sports shoe – the Airflex Milestone and downloaded the printable size chart to double check Dexter’s size – lucky I did, my kid has long feet like his father and I would have ordered a size too small.
Dex has been wearing these shoes at soccer for two weeks now and he’s obviously more comfortable in them than he was in his old soccer shoes and I’m a lot more confident that he’s not hurting his feet. The shoes are extremely high quality, they look and feel like they would be comfortable and most importantly Dexter likes to wear them around the house and during all the running around that toddler soccer brings.
I had a great experience shopping online with Betts Kids and an even better experience going into our local store to grab a pair of summer shoes. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable and able to deal with a toddler that wanted to run around the store more than he wanted to get fitted for shoes – being able to deal with kids with a smile is always a major plus for any business I deal with. Betts Kids really should be your first choice when taking care of little feet and thanks to the team at Betts Kids headquarters I have three pairs of shoes to give away.
For your chance to win one of three pairs of shoes from Betts Kids, each to the maximum value of $100 simply visit Betts Kids and then come back here to tell me which pair of shoes you would want to win for your child and why (as always, extra points for creativity).
